We are really excited to announce our upcoming three-part Virtual Vehicle Modification Show called “On the Road Again”. The show will take place via Zoom and we have invited folks from across the country to join in for this great learning and sharing event. Each session will include an opportunity for Q&A with the experts!
Part 1: Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 | 3:30 pm Eastern Daylight Time
This session is an opportunity to learn about the driving assessment and rehabilitation process, what sources of funding are available for accessible personal vehicles across Canada, as well as why consumers need to know about NMEDA and ADED.
Part 2: Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 | 3:30 pm Eastern Daylight Time
Silver Cross Automotive, VMI, and Adapt Solutions will walk us through the scope of vehicles and modifications that are available and spotlight the latest modifications and technology the industry has to offer.
Part 3:Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 | 3:30 pm Eastern Daylight Time
Universal Motion will be presenting some of their unique custom adaptations. This session will also provide an opportunity to see what your peers in the community are driving from high performance vehicles to motorcycles and everything in between. There will be a chance to talk to members of the community about their vehicles, modifications, and choices. They will share tips like how they transfer to and from their vehicle and many more valuable lessons they have learned over the course of their driving careers.
This series is appropriate for people with a variety of disabilities. Whether to learn to drive with hand controls, purchase a first or fifth vehicle, and regardless of whether being the driver or a passenger, you won’t want to miss this event.
