A non-profit organization that works collaboratively with persons with physical disabilities, care givers, staff, volunteers, and community members to provide services that ensure that those living with disabilities have access and opportunity to live, work, and engage in the greater community. In short, ALSO is dedicated to ensuring persons with disabilities have access to full citizenship by providing the following programs and services:
• Attendant services
• Supportive housing
• Outreach services (in-home attendant services)
• Acquired brain injury services
• Respite
• Vocational services
• Participation industries (day program)
• Equal Ability (employment search, assessment, and retention services)
• Social recreation
• Client intervention services

All supports, services and direct funding for adults with developmental disabilities in Ontario are allocated through a single point of access, Developmental Services Ontario (DSO).
