The John McGivney Children’s Centre provides rehabilitative services to children with disabilities in Windsor-Essex.  Focused on providing children and their families support and services to reach their full potential, the Centre provides services to children experiencing difficulty with everyday activities like crawling and walking, feeding, hand function and communicating; as well as those with developmental disabilities, orthopedic impairments, and complex chronic illnesses. The centre provides the following programs and services to children and youth from birth to age 21:

Windsor Essex Community Health Centre
Health Promotion
Our Health Promotion team consists of Health Promoters and Community Health Workers who work closely with our multidisciplinary team of health care providers as part of the Community Health Centre model. The Health Promotion scope of practice covers various components of health care including mental health education, nutrition and food security, problematic substance use, post-natal support, and Low-German services to name a few. Tetra Society – Ontario
Tetra’s volunteers build custom assistive devices for anyone with a disability, with no charge for labour. We build for children, teens, seniors and older adults so that they may gain independence in their daily living, school, work, play, recreation, sport or hobby.
